I Have the Strength...

Philippians 4: 13 (GNT)  "I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me."

Don't Worry About Anything

In times when financial stability is of such great concern, I try to remember this:  I worry most when I think it's only up to me or my job or someone else to provide for me.  Then worry I should!  But the truth is, the One most in control over all my affairs loves me (and loves us all) more than we could ever fathom.  Then I relax in knowing I really am taken care of.     Isaiah 26:12  "You will give us prosperity, Lord; everything that we achieve is the result of what You do."

The Lord Stayed With Me and Gave Me Strength

2 Timothy 4:16-17 (GNT)  "No one stood by me the first time I defended myself; all deserted me.  May God not count it against them!  But the Lord stayed with me and gave me strength..."

Show Me the Way I Should Go

Psalm 143: 8 (GNT) "Remind me each morning of Your constant Love, for I put my trust in You.  My prayers go up to You; show me the way I should go."

When It's Hard To Be Kind To Someone

Colossians 3:12-17 (Good News Translation) "You are the people of God; He loved you and chose you for His own.  So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.  Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else.  You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.  And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.  The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body.  And be thankful.  Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts.  Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom. "You Are With Me"

At church we are reciting Psalm 23  And every time I recite it, I forget the same phrase....and I realized the significance of forgetting this particular phrase;  it is the one thing I tend to forget daily!  "You are with me"  --GOD IS WITH ME!  GOD IS WITH YOU!  ALWAYS! -- Psalm 23: 1-4 (GNT) "The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.  He lets me rest in fields of green grass and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water.  He gives me new strength.  He guides me in the right paths, as He has promised.  Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for You are with me.  Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me."

God Gives Justice

Matthew 5:6 (NLT) "God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied."

God is My Strength; He is All I Ever Need

Psalm 73:21-25 "When my thoughts were bitter and my feelings were hurt, I was as stupid as an animal; I did not understand You.  Yet I always stay close to You, and You hold me by the hand.  You guide me with Your instruction and at the end You will receive me with honor.  What else do I have in Heaven but You?  Since I have You,  what else could I want on earth?  My mind and my body may grow weak, but God is my strength; He is all I ever need.

Faith In His Name

Act 3:16 "It was the power of His name that gave strength to this lame man.  What you see and know was done by faith in His name; it was faith in Jesus that made him well, as you can all see."

I Will Trust Him and Not Be Afraid
