How Grateful Are We To God?
Psalm 100(King James version) "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations."

Jesus Explains the Parable of the Sower (GNB)
(Mark 4:13-20)GNB(GOOD NEWS BIBLE) -- "Then Jesus asked them, 'Don't you understand this parable? How, then, will you ever understand any parable? The sower sows God's message. Some people are like the seeds that fall along the path; as soon as they hear the message, Satan comes and takes it away. Other people are like the seeds that fall on rocky ground. As soon as they hear the message, they receive it gladly. But it does not sink deep into them, and they don't last long. So when trouble or persecution comes because of the message, they give up at once. Other people are like the seeds sown among the thorn bushes. These are the ones who hear the message, but the worries about this life, the love for riches, and all other kinds of desires crowd in and choke the message, and they don't bear fruit. But other people are like seeds sown in good soil. They hear the message, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirty, some sixty, and some one hundred'."

"Be Still And Know That I Am God"
Psalm 46:10
New International Version (NIV)
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
Thought for the day: To feel God's presence with me, what I do is I picture Him, in my mind, standing by my side all day long. I talk to Him. I ask for His advise. I tell Him my fears and worries. I share my happy moments with Him. I invite Him to eat with me. Isn't that the way He wants us to live? With Him by our side? I do this as much as I can and it really helps me live with His presence in my life.

"Whis is the Greatest Commandment?"
(Matthew 22:36-40) GNB "Teacher", he asked, "which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus answered, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the most important commandment.
The second most important commandment is like it: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' The whole Law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets depend on these two commandments."

"Put Your Heart Right...Reach Out To God"
(Job 11:13-19) "Put your heart right, Job. Reach out to God. Put away evil and wrong from your home. Then face the world again, firm and courageous. Then all your troubles will fade from your memory, like floods that are past and remembered no more. Your life will be brighter than sunshine at noon, and life's darkest hours will shine like the dawn. You will live secure and full of hope; God will protect you and give you rest. You won't be afraid of your enemies; many people will ask you for help."
